Coventry City manager Andy Thorn admitted his delight that Cyrus Christie, Conor Thomas and Gael Bigirimana have signed long-term contract extensions.
So far there has been no news as to the length of the new deal deals but they are though to take the players up to June 2014 at least.
“This is brilliant news,” said Thorn to the CT: “it’s a great deal for the club and the players and now we have got that sorted out we can concentrate fully on helping them realise their full potential.
“They, like many of the other younger lads who have come in this season, are the future of this football club and it will be a bright future for Coventry City with these players on board.
“Cyrus has been terrific especially when you consider he made his league debut for us on the opening day of this season and has either started or come on in every single game since.
“Again, he will just get better with the more experience he picks up in games, coming up against and playing with those who have been there and done it.
“It proves that we not only spot and produce talent here at Coventry City, we give it a chance to shine in the first team.”
