Cardiff City new defender Ben Turner has said that Andy Thorn is doing a fantastic job as manager of Coventry City.
Turner who was sold to the South Wales side for £750k on Wednesday, told the CT's Andy Turner: "I loved every minute of my time at Coventry.
"The fact that I know when that fixture is shows I'm already looking forward to it because of how much I enjoyed my time at Coventry. I've got a lot of friends there so this is just a change of job.
"I think the gaffer is doing a fantastic job, especially considering seven or eight players left the club in the summer. They have lost the best goalie in the league, Aron Gunnarsson who has played nearly every game in centre midfield for the last three seasons, the captain Lee Carsley and top goal scorer Marlon King.
"There is only so much Andy Thorn can do but all the lads are on his side and he has got a great atmosphere there.
He's trying to do things the right way - there are no doubts about that and he's not accepting that they have to change the style of play. People can see what he is trying to do and see the team are good to watch. The club need to back him and Steve Harrison because he is doing everything to take the club forward."
