Coventry City manager Andy Thorn was awarded his Level two coaching badge on Tuesday and is now working toward his UEFA B licence.
When Thorn was appointed manager of Coventry City last season he knew he would have to earn his coaching qualifications in order to be able to continue as a manager.
In order to get his badge, the 44 year old Thorn underwent an assessment at the club's Ryton training ground where he had to organise a coaching session for the club's Academy players. Prior to the assessment, he went on a week long summer coaching course.
Thorn has now stared studying for the next stage of the process and is working to get his UEFA B licence.
