Coventry City manager Andy Thorn is delighted that he has options amongst his squad.
Speaking to the CT's Alan Poole, Thorn said: "We've got a few players coming back and pushing for a place.
"That gives me decisions to make but I can cope with that sort of problem - it's hell of a lot better than having nobody to choose from.
"If people aren't in the team they have got realise it is nothing personal - we'll always go with what we think is the best team to win the game and we'll change things around if necessary.
"Gael is a good example. We left him out because he had a little dip in form but he's come back looking better than ever and on Tuesday he took the game by storm.
"We took our time with Cody McDonald because we had to get a pre-season into him but in the second half he showed he's a natural goalscorer - he's got on the end of a couple of crosses and was an inch off scoring when his header hit the bar.
"We've got some good options on the bench now and because we play a certain way everybody knows their job. They know what they have to do when they get into the side so if somebody is struggling with an injury or a little bit off their game we can replace him with no worries and freshen things up."
