Coventry City Deputy Chairman John Clarke has said that Andy Thorn has been unlucky but has the backing of the board.
Speaking to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Stuart Linnell before the 1-0 home defeat to Hull City, John Clarke said: "Andy Thorn has been unlucky but we are right behind him.
"We are certain he can turn it round and has the backing from the Boardroom right down to Ryton and the Academy."
When asked if Thorn will get a budget in the January transfer window, Mr Clarke who called Ken Dulieu a "Director Of Soccer" said: "There will be a budget for Ken Dulieu and he will be able to make recommendations to the board and SISU."
