Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has remains hopeful of bringing in a player in the Emergency Loan Window, which opened today.
The City boss speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club’s weekly press conference said: "I am hoping to get something done and I really hope we can get someone in.
"We want to progress forward with some deals and some stuff I am working on. If it doesn't work out, then we will get on with it and keep going.
"We won't use that as excuse and while it would be nice if we could get someone in, I am just going to focus on what we do can to move forward positively.
"We won't make any excuses and we will move forward together."
