Coventry City manager Andy Thorn is hoping to get Preston's midfielder Adam Barton signed as quickly as possible.
With Peterborough United also being reported as interested in the 21 year old, Thorn who will use some of the cash from the sale of Gary Deegan to Hibs, for Barton, told the CT's Alan Poole; "I don't want to really talk about it until it is over the line but Adam is a player I really like.
"He's tall, athletic, and he can play and I'm sure he would be a great asset."
