Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has admitted that he is ignoring a lot that has been written about his two new players in Alex Nimely and Hermann Hreidarsson.
Nimely's record whilst on loan at Middlesbrough and Hreidarsson's record of suffering relegation for a record equalling five times have all been negatively mentioned this week but Thorn says he is ignoring them.
Speaking to the CT's Alan Poole, Thorn said: "It amazes me sometimes but I've stopped reading and listening to stuff like that.
"You can't let things like that get to you so all I would say is watch them play, see what they can do before writing them off.
"I don't want to put tons of pressure on Alex but he's a good talent who will give us something different.
"I've told him that he's got the chance to make a name for himself here because if he starts banging in the goals, the supporters will take to him and he can become a big player for the club. But people can make up their own mind when they see him - for now just let the kid play and enjoy himself."
