Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that is good to have his main back four all playing again.
Speaking to the CT’s Andy Turner, Thorn said: “It’s nice to have the back four that played the majority of the last ten games of last season back for the first time this season,” said the typically upbeat manager ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Hull.
“And with the full-backs just coming back it has given a freshness to it as well. The way we like playing, full-back is a tough position to play for us. You have to be an athlete and get up and down and that takes a lot out of you so in a round about way we’ve got two lads in there who are pretty fresh now.
“Chris has come back well. Defending is part of his game he knows he has to work on but I would say the majority of full-backs in this league, bar the odd couple, are more cavalier than they are defensive.
“But he’s learning all the time. He’s got a few assists this season and scored a cracking goal in training yesterday and hopefully he’ll get a few more assists in the last seven games.”
