Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that he was pleased with the 2-1 win at Bristol Rovers.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player's Nick Connoll, Thorn said: : "I was pleased with the performance, it was a good work out for the boys, we produced two good goals and we controlled the game for long periods as well so that was good to see.
"All in all it was a good performance and I think we have hit the ground running at the right time. We've achieved what we wanted to in pre-season, we've had some tough games but we've needed them.
"I've been chuffed to bits with pre-season. We've built up a bit of momentum at the right time and there's a good feeling in the dressing room because the boys know what they have to do. All that's left now is to make sure we execute starting on Tuesday."
