Coventry City manager Andy Thorn was unhappy with Nathan Cameron's goal being ruled out this afternoon in the 0-0 draw at Watford.
Cameron had got in a header from a 24th minute corner which went into the net. However, before the ball hit the back of the net, referee Mr Webster had blown his whistle and ruled the goal out for a push.
Speaking to the Press Association, Thorn said: "Watford are in form, it's a tough place to come, but we knew what to expect. We were going to get peppered early on and throughout the game.
"We did, we stood strong, we got some great blocks in and in the end we got a couple of chances.
"They've had a couple but Oliver Norwood's had one and Cody's had two and there's nothing wrong with Nathan Cameron's goal.
"I'm bitterly disappointed that was disallowed because there's no contact whatsoever and the boy just runs through and heads it. I'm really disappointed in that decision because that's three points for us."
"Watford do great at what they do and Sean Dyche has done terrific and it was important that we matched them for their style of play.
"It's not the way I want to play; I think I said before I thought at one stage the ball was going to be substituted and bandaged up and taken to the hospital.
"We had to dig in and show some character against a really good side that, results-wise, he's got playing well.
"It was a test for us and I'm disappointed after all the effort that we put in that we're going away with not three points when you score a perfectly good goal."
