Thornton Ban Rescinded

Kevin Thornton has had his ban for a red card in City's first pre-season game at Portland rescinded. The midfielder was alleged to have stamped on an opponent.

However, video evidence proved this was not the case and Thornton is now eligible for selection for Sunday's game at home to Sunderland.
