It has emerged that Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd hopes to sign at least three more players before the start of the new season.
He says that the team building is still work in progress and that he is talking to two potential new players and the chairman Ray Ranson is talking to two others and that he is confident that at least three players will be signed up for the new campaign.
It is understood that the players Boothroyd is looking for are two strikers, probably young forwards on loan from Premiership clubs and an experienced centre half capable of taking charge and leading from the back.
Boothroyd said to the CT: "I haven't got anyone else coming in at the minute but I am talking to a couple and the chairman is talking to a couple."
"It is very much a case of making sure we balance everything up by getting the boys fit who are going to start the season, and also bringing in those who are going to make the difference to add to us and make us a better team."
