Former Coventry City captain Carl Baker has said that he felt that having a cup of tea thrown over him over-stepped the mark.
The MK Dons player was subject, according to reports, of having tea thrown at him during a game at Crawley Town.
Baker tweeted: "Shocking to have a fan throw a hot cup of tea over a player and not get kicked out! He wasn't disabled but if he was this is still wrong.
"Verbal abuse I can take but this over stepped the mark IMO. Then to get booked for celebrating with my team mates is laughable."
