Tickets for Coventry City supporters planning to see the Sky Blues at Exeter City in January are expected to be very limited.
The Grecians are having extensive building work done at St James' Park, worth over £3.5m.
As part of the work, November will see the demolition of the existing Old Grandstand followed by construction of the new stand and external works.
This phase will also include the demolition and construction of the new Away End stand. The project is due to finish by October 2018.
Exeter, who had the away terrace closed for their 4-1 win over Morecambe on Saturday, have said: "The capacity for away fans will be very restricted during the construction period."
