Exeter City boss Paul Tidsdale says there will be no lack of motivation as his side face Coventry City on Saturday.
The Exeter boss, who is the longest serving manager in the Football League, told Devon Live: “It’s going to be a really tight top half of the table now, I would imagine, for the next month or two and we have to pick up as many points as we can.
“It’s a game against a fellow contender so there’s no lack of motivation for this one and we have to try to continue our home league form.”
Tidsdale expecting a totally different game to the one which saw the Sky Blues beat Premier League Stoke City on Saturday and said: : “It was a terrific achievement, beating a Premier League side, and it doesn’t surprise me that, on any given day, the gap between the divisions isn’t that great if one team has an off day and the other plays to their ability, and it looks like Coventry did that on Saturday.
“So well done to them but it will be a very different game against us this Saturday in a league fixture.
“I don’t think we need any extra reason to believe it will be tough and they’re a team that are doing very well at the moment.”
