Tim Left Gutted By Sacking

Tim Flowers has been left gutted after being sacked at 8.30am this morning after a dawn raid by Ray Ranson at the training ground.

Said the City supporting Flowers to the CT: "We have probably gone through the worst 12 months of turmoil in terms of behind the scenes, lack of funds and all that, in the history of the club. Certainly as far back as I can remember.

"I'm obviously disappointed and this is the first time of being on this side of the fence for me, and perhaps testament to the spirit we have built at the club is the fact that 18 or so players came up to us one by one this morning to say how gutted they are.

"I hope the lads beat Cardiff tomorrow night and get to the Cup Final. "I still love the club and wish them all the best."
