Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that Freddy Eastwood has to start stepping up his performances.
Thorn, who faces losing his top goalscorer in Marlon King if he does not accept the contract given to him, told the CT: “I don’t think we have seen anything near what Freddy Eastwood can do.
“It’s a big year for Fred coming up. "He’s got a year left on his contract and we had a good chat this week because we see it in training and we know what he has got in there. It is just a case of getting it out of him.
“He’s looked me in the eyes and he wants to do well. "But it is down to the individual and how far they want to go.
"I want to be successful, the coaching staff want to be successful and we want to come back next season with the players wanting that as well. "But at the end of the day the proof will be in the pudding.”
