Callum Ball felt that the way Coventry City U21's played against Birmingham City in their 2-1 victory at St Andrews was great.
Speaking to the club website after the win which saw a 38th minute goal from Will Roberts cancel out Birmingham's fourth minute lead from Akwasi Asante before Billy Daniels hit the winner in the 70th minute for Lee Carsley's side, Ball said: "To play against the players they had in their team today was a real test. That is probably as good as any team near the top of League One.
"They have great experience so for us to come here as quite a young side and play the way we did was great. They definitely opened stronger but I thought we grew into the game and deserved the win in the end.
"It shows that we have got a really good squad here and that there are players coming through. Wins like that definitely gets the spirits up."
