Coventry City defender Richard Wood has played down any chance the Sky Blues might have had of a top six finish and a play off spot.
With Coventry City 12th in the table and 9 points adrift of the last play off spot with and only six games left of the season, a late push is still mathematically possible, but unlikely, especially as they have now gone five games without a win.
Wood told BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, "It's going to be difficult but we want to finish as high as we can now, Last season, in the last eight games I don't think Coventry won a game so we don't want that to happen again."
Wood scored a late equaliser against his old club Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday to earn his team a point.
