Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that the players training session on Thursday July 28th at the Ricoh Arena will be fun.
Speaking to the club website, Thorn said about the interactive event which runs from 10am to 6pm and sees a player training session in the afternoon: "This session won't be too serious. It's just a good chance for the fans to see the lads training before we get into the really serious action on August 6.
"It's a nice touch from the club to arrange this event and it will be good for our supporters who were magnificent last year to see the players in this type of session.
Thorn will name four captains for the interactive event, which will see a series of six-a-side matches and then a penalty shoot-out, and supporters will be given the opportunity to name the four teams. Aside from the training session, there will be a range of activities available in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall including a car simulator, climbing wall, facepainters, live acts and a signing session with the first team squad.
The event be open to everyone for free from 10am until 6pm. Non Season Ticket holders and non-JSBs will be charged £5 and £2.50 respectively to watch the training session on the Ricoh Arena pitch.
