Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Grandison, whose loan at Prenton Park was cut short after he picked up a hamstring injury during Tranmere's game at Yeovil Town said: "The loan has been really good for me to be honest. It's helped me grow as a player and it's got me the kind of experience I really needed.
"I think I've gained more awareness, I know what's around me and I've played with more experienced centre backs.
"Tranmere have a centre-back who's 38 so I've been able to take on different kinds of advice and it has helped the communication side of my game.
"I think in League One they tend to knock it long more, I think it's more long ball football whereas in the Championship it's more on the ground.
"It's more or less the same when you're playing it, it's the same, you're doing the same jobs so it's not a massive difference but the experience at Tranmere has made me want to work harder.
"We played Peterborough United and I was tasked with marking Aaron MacLean and we beat them 1-0 so it was nice to be able to do a job against a player of that quality.
"Tranmere have said they would like to see more of me and once I get over a little injury I have at the minute I could be going back up there. "Being there and playing has helped my game and all I want to do is improve as a player."
