Tranmere Rovers are to approach Coventry City to ask if defender Jermaine Grandison can stay at Prenton Park for another two months or even the maximum 93 days as cover for the injury hit team.
Rover's manager Les Parry has been impressed with the performances of the 19 year old defender since his arrival at the club on loan as cover for the injured Marlon Broomes, but his injury now looks as if it will take longer to heal which is why Tranmere want to extend the loan of Grandison.
Parry told the Liverpool Daily Post: "Marlon Broomes' injury is going to take longer to clear than we expected and that's going to leave us short of central defenders."
"We have Jermaine for a month and I think you can see in his two performances for a so far that he is going to be a player. So I will probably go back to Coventry to ask if we can keep him for longer, up to the maximum 93 days if possible."
