Trio Will Stay If We Can't Get Better - Boothroyd

Aidy Boothroyd may offer a lifeline to three Coventry City players who are coming to the end of their contracts.

Clinton Morrison, Stephen Wright and Dimi Konstantopolous are all out of contract later this summer and it is likely that Boothroyd will want to stamp his mark on the team at the earliest opportunity and all three players could be looking for new clubs.

Boothroyd had already said, when asked if speaking to the three players soon to out of contract was his priority, "No, the priority is meeting the staff and then looking at what players we can get in. If we can get better players than those you mentioned then I will be going out to get them, but if we can't then I will be picking up the phone."
