Jon Trott top scored for Warwickshire on the opening day of their County Championship against Worcestershire.
At New Road, Worcestershire put Warwicks into bat and took their first wicket when Neil Carter was out for 13.
With the score on 56, Ian Westwood was caught by Solanki and then Troughton became the first victim of Jones who took four wickets.
That haul included Jon Trott who hit 67 from 99 balls and Rikki Clarke who hit a half century.
Tim Ambrose weighed in with 63 as Warwicks were all out for 309.
In reply, Worcestershire were 2-0.
In the third Ashes Test match at Edgbaston, Australia were ripped by Jimmy Anderson and Graham Onions. Anderson picked up a five wicket haul and Onions four as Australia were all out for 263.
England lost Alistair Cook for a duck and Bopara for 26 but Andrew Strauss (63 not out) and Ian Bell (26 not out) saw England end the day on 116-2.
