Two Sky Blue Trust members - Chris Winter and Roger Ellis - are taking part in a sponsored walk up Snowdon on Sunday 29 June 2014. They will be raising money to help meet the costs of the Sky Blue Trust March in Coventry City Centre to take place on 12 July 2014.
The Snowdon sponsored walk is being organised by our friends in the Wrexham Supporters' Trust. This year is the 150th anniversary of the formation of their club. To mark this, 150 of the Wrexham Trust’s members will be taking part in the walk. They have invited other Supporters’ Trusts to nominate two people each to take part. In addition to the two from Coventry, other clubs to be represented include Bury, Hereford, Port Vale, Blackpool, Kidderminster, Huddersfield, Wycombe, FC United of Manchester, 1874 Northwich, Worcester City, Chester, Newcastle, Tottenham, Grimsby, Plymouth, AFC Hinckley and Shamrock Rovers. All those taking part will wear their club shirts and pose for a massive team photo at the summit.
