“We think the reaction of the fans last Monday was indicative of the strong feeling that had been building up against Mr.Reid. He was brought in to provide the Club with instant success, but this was looking increasingly unlikely the further down the league table the team slipped.
Yesterday's decision is probably in the best interests of both the Football Club and the fans.
As to who the Club appoints as its’ next manager, the Trust hopes that this will be someone who perhaps has some past connections with the Football Club, and has the ability and presence to move us forward again. After four managers in the last two years we would like to see some management stability now brought to the Club.
The Trust also hopes that all supporters will now get behind the team - in their attempts to steer clear of relegation trouble”.
