Trust Remember Herbert

The Sky Blue Trust today marked the anniversary of the original Secretary of the Coventry City Supporters Club and founder of the National Federation of Supporters Clubs Herbert Kendall who died on June 4th 1948.

Members of the Trust Board plus Kev Monks,a Vice President of the Football Supporters Federation and John Haddon from the City Supporters Club, attended a memorial gathering at Stoke St Michaels Church in Walsgrave Road,Coventry.

Kendall lay in an unmarked grave until an appeal led by City supporters three years ago raised enough to fund a headstone.
