The Sky Blue Trust have announced they will fight a rejection by Coventry City Council to not grant members of the Coventry City 1987 FA Cup winning team Honourary Freedom of the City of Coventry.
The Trust who ran a testimonial party for Micky Gynn, raising £1300 as well as assisting on the day of the game, helping to generate £300 in raffle ticket sales, will lobby City supporters,the local media,councillors and MP's "in order to acknowledge those people who have been voted as giving, not only Coventry but the whole of the Midlands, it's greatest sporting achievement".
