The Trust have also agreed in principle to support the club's decision to involve supporters in the decision to appoint a new manager. Trust Finance Director Lionel Bird told the CET: "I am absolutely delighted that the club are giving the fans a level of input.
"It is unprecedented in the club's history and Mike McGinnity should be credited for setting up this sort of initiative.
"If we are going to represent our members then we need to consult them and get feedback from them because obviously not everyone will be of the same opinion as to who they want.
"Personally, I would like to see Micky Adams get the job. Having watched him as a player, I know he is a passionate man who has an affinity with the club.
"He lives locally and what he has done as a manager, particularly at Fulham, shows he has the credentials for the job.
"But there may well be fans who disagree with me and want someone else, so you can't please everyone."
