Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he will let Marcus Tudgay know tomorrow if the Sky Blues will be offering him a deal.
City play a Top XI Lega Pro One and Two side at their Molveno training base (11am kick off UK time) and Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “What will happen is after 45 minutes I’ll have discussions with him about our final decision,” said Pressley.
“I said I would give him a decision at the end of the trip and in the two games I think he’s performed very well.”
It will then be up to Tudgay if he wants to accept the wages City are offering and Pressley said: “It has to work both ways and I understand that.
“But Steve Waggott explained to his agent over a week ago the type of parameters that we are working within, and I think the player is comfortable with that.
"So if we decide that he’s the right player I hope that an agreement can be reached.
“So a decision will be made after Saturday’s game but all the initial signs are that he has adapted very well to the way we want to play.”
