Marcus Tudgay has said that the Coventry City players are not short of confidence after the 2-0 defeat at Fleetwood Town which saw many of the City supporters who had travelled to Highbury walking out before the end, having seen enough of what was a poor performance.
Speaking to Billie Marshall, Tudgay said: “Disappointed, yes, but we are certainly not short of confidence at the moment. We all believe we are good enough to turn this around but it is about showing that on the pitch.
“We do have talent here and at the moment we seem to be snatching at chances. What should be a relatively simple chance we are making look more difficult and perhaps thinking about it too much.
“Once one goal comes it could be a case of the floodgates opening, but we know we can’t get disheartened, we’ve got to keep working on the training pitch and look to improve our results.”
