Whilst the nation was concentrating on the Champions League where both Chelsea and Glasgow Rangers went out of the competition, there were two re-arranged games in the Championship.

Preston North End made the long trek to Plymouth Argyle and drew 0-0 which was also the score in the Staffordshire derby between Wolves and Stoke City at Molineux.

Talking of re-arranged games, the big derby in Coventry between Coventry Copsewood and Coventry Sphinx was changed at short notice, from tonight and will now take place at Allard Way on Saturday.

Tonight's Midland Combination Premier Division games between Atherstone Town v Southam United,Cadbury v Massey Ferguson and Coventry Copsewood v Feckenham were all postponed .
