Coventry City's battle against relegation was eased tonight as two results went their way.
Bottom of the Championship Colchester United were beaten 3-1 at home by Hull City. The U's had Ifill sent off in the 14th minute and trailed to two goals from Campbell in the 20th and 33rd minute. Kevin Lisbie pulled one back in the 37th minute but Caleb Folan scored three minutes from time to keep's Hull's play-offs bid very much on track.
Wolves are trying to join Hull in the play-offs and they came from behind to beat Scunthorpe United 2-1. Butler put the Irons ahead in the fifth minute, but goals from Gray (57) and Collins (83) gave Mick McCarthy's side all three points.
League one leaders Swansea were in action tonight. They are won 2-0 at Bristol Rovers, who were without former Sky Blue David Pipe.
