City have taken two players on loan. Eddy Johnson has joined from Manchester United on a years loan whilst Gavin Ward has been brought back to the club for a month as a replacement for Richard Brush.
Johnson said "I was on loan in Belgium with Royal Antwerp at the end of last season and did okay there - I played 11 games and scored nine goals. "The standard doesn't touch our Premiership but it is quite high. My main aim is obviously to do well for myself but I want to do the best for Coventry as well and hopefully get them promoted or at least to the play-offs. "I think it'll be good for me to get the experience and I'm going to class myself as a Coventry player for the season."
