Two of the bottom four sides in the League One table had victories in the four matches that were played tonight.
Bottom side side Bury moved off the bottom of the table after a 2-0 win against Stevenage at Gigg Lane. Former City youngster Jonson Clarke-Harris scored one of the goals.
Former Coventry City forward Robbie Simpson scored in a 3-0 win over Hartlepool United. The win lifts Oldham out of the bottom four which now has Portsmouth, whom Coventry City travel to on Saturday, bottom with Hartlepool United, Bury and now Scunthorpe above them
Swindon moved up to third with a 2-0 win at Yeovil Town whilst Crewe beat MK Dons 2-1.
