Coventry City manager Iain Dowie remains upbeat about the Sky Blues after losing the last two matches.
Speaking to Sky Blue World, Dowie said: "We need to remain optimistic, we now have a situation where the club has been taken over and we can move forward.
"There is no reason why we can't be positive and get some results on the board. "Sloppy goals are letting us down at the moment and we need to stop that. It is a collective thing but we're not here to mope and moan we're here to get on with it.
"One or two of the targets we're looking at in January are getting close but I'm not going to sing about them from the rooftops until everything is done.
"In this business you can be tripped up very easily, so we just have to keep working hard because we've got a great bunch of lads here who have shown they can handle adversity in the best way."
