Coventry City Technical Director Mark Venus has said that he wants the club to move away from the era of cuts and more cuts.
Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Venus said: "We want to build a football club. From my point of view, having been in the club and listening to supporters, everyone is sick of 'the cuts, the cuts, the cuts'.
"Speaking openly and honestly, we've got to start growing again and become a big football club in this league, and beyond. We need to behave like a big club again.
"Sign players who are far too good for this level of the game and we've got to make people believe that we're growing again. We are coming again but it's going to take a little bit of time.
