Coventry City Interim Manager & Otium Director Mark Venus felt the Sky Blues 1-1 draw at Morecambe was a fair result.
Venus, who was told by the City support during the game at the Globe Arena, to "sort it out" amongst other things, told the Coventry Telegraph: "
I think it was probably a fair result,” said the interim manager. “We’ve got a replay which won’t be easy as anybody who was here can see.
"We’re still in the cup but we’ve got to push on.
“In the first half we never really threatened their goal and they had a couple of chances where they probably should have scored.
“Second half we played with a bit more purpose and intensity, created a lot more and deserved to score – but then maybe they could have scored again.
“We have to play the way we want to play and I didn’t think we did that in the first half – we didn’t play forward enough, didn’t play with enough purpose and we certainly didn’t threaten enough.
“I know where we are as a football squad and we’ve just got to keep working hard for each other.”
