Coventry City Interim Manager and Otium Director Mark Venus said that he heard what the fans said during the Sky Blues 4-0 FA Cup Second Round loss at Cambridge United.
Venus, whose tactics again today were highly questionable, was told in no uncertain terms to get out of the club by a good number of the 745 strong City support who are struggling to see any light at the end of the tunnel whilst Venus and the current board of which Venus is a director of and the owners are still in charge.
Venus, who could not even look at the City support, calling for his head, told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "I heard what the fans said and I think I have to understand that. The performance was not good enough to be deserving of the manager. It was frustration from the fans. It's their football club and they have to get what they want.
"The players are supposed to be talented players but they have to stand up and be counted."
