Coventry City Interim Manager and Otium Director Mark Venus has said that he wants to manage the Sky Blues permanently.
Venus told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire radio: “It hasn’t made me any weaker or made me feel that I don’t want to do the job.
"Yeah I want to do the job and yeah, I think I can do the job.
“You are not going to make a team that’s, to be brutally honest, bottom of the league be top of the league overnight. That’s just not going to happen.
“I think it’s good enough to get away but at this moment in time, where we are, we all need to improve in all of our jobs, me included, to get to the top end of the table.”
