Aston Villa would sign former Coventry City forward Robbie Keane if they had the chance.
Villa boss Alex McLeish intimated that Villa would be interested if Keane who scored twice against Wolves on Saturday was interested.
McLeish is quoted by Sky Sports as saying in response to the question that Keane should be on a bigger stage than the MLS: "It's one of these things he's chosen to do. It is up to Robbie.
"If he feels he wants to come back to the Premier League, I'm sure there would be some welcoming arms.
"I would like to think we'd be interested. We brought him in. He's paid his dues with that magnificent performance against Wolves."
