Coventry City's Romain Vincelot has said that if feels like a defeat after the Sky Blues were pulled back after leading 2-0 at Swindon Town.
Vincelot told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “It feels like a defeat when you’re 2-0 up with ten minutes to go, so it’s a very bad feeling right now.
“Hopefully it’s something we can take as a lesson because we dropped too deep at the end. We dealt well with their style of play in the first half and at the start of the second but when we started to score we tried to protect the lead too much and it was not the right option. We should have stayed higher up the pitch like we did before.
“It’s very frustrating because we did exactly what was planned for 80 minutes and then we lost two points.
“It is always nice to get a goal but I don’t feel anything about it right now because all that matters is the result which is very disappointing.
“Our penalty was clear, the player clearly grabbed Jacob Murphy.
“But I don’t think we can have any complaints at the other end where I think it was a hand ball but, once again, we should have been higher up the pitch and if someone did make a hand ball it would have been outside the box.”
