Virgo Returned

Adam Virgo has returned to Celtic. The ultility player picked up a cruciate ligament injury during City's defeat at Cardiff City and has gone back to Glasgow with a possible recall to the Sky Blues when he is fit again.

Micky Adams told the CET: "Adam Virgo's injury is obviously long standing and he has gone back because there is very little we can do for him at the moment until he can start running again.

"But as soon as he can start running again we will get him back down here.

"We are hoping to get some of the injured players back. The lads will work hard and have a bit of rest as well. It has been a tough start to the season but after Saturday's result they are delighted."
