According to speculation in some media reports Coventry City could be trying to take Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sam Vokes on a season long loan.
Vokes was strongly linked with a loan move to The Ricoh last season, but negotiations dragged on and on and eventually failed and the big striker ended up on loan at Leeds instead.
Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has been on record as saying he favours a big striker up front and at 6'2", Vokes fist that bill.
The 20 year old English born striker is a Wales international with 16 full caps and 14 caps at under 21 level.
He is not a prolific striker, but his chances have been limited by lack of starts, but he has scored at every level. At Bournemouth he scored 16 goals in 54 appearances, at Wolves he scored 6 times in 41 games and for Wales he has netted a total of 6 times in 30 games.
