Coventry City CEO Steve Waggott has written that the club need to be more outwardly facing in Coventry and Warwickshire.
Writing in his column in the match day programme for City's game against Swindon, Waggott wrote: "In my view, it is vital that the club is more outwardly facing in the community of Coventry & Warwickshire. For one reason or another, it has looked inwardly for too long and we are going to reverse that.
"We have to engage with more businesses and we are doing so through the Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber, through Coventry & Warwickshire Champions and through individual relationships with smaller and larger firms in the area."
