Walsall kept up their hopes of automatc promotion with a 2-1 win over Shrewsbury Town.
At the Banks' Stadum tonight, Walsall need a win to keep their hopes of automatic promotion alive, knowing that a defeat or a draw would see Wigan promoted whilst Shrewsbury needed a win to put ease their relegation worries.
It was the Saddlers who drew first blood when Keiron Morris scored with a shot from the edge of the box in the eleventh minute and just before half-time, Walsall had a second when Rico Henry fired home.
In the second half, Matt Sadler pulled a goal back for The Shrews on the hour mark but Walsall took the win.
