One of Aidy Boothroyd's targets for a loan move to The Ricoh Arena, Bolton's Danny Ward, has told prospective suitors they will have to wait until next week before he will make a final decision.
Coventry City and Millwall had been considered the two front runners to capture the signature of the promising 18 year old striker, but yesterday, Leeds suddenly emerged as favourites, but there are a host of other Championship clubs vying to take the teenager on loan until January.
Bolton have stressed the decision is Ward's to make and his agent Michael O'Garra has urged him to take his time to make the right move.
O'Garra told the South London Press, "Danny is in the lucky position of having a choice between a lot of clubs. And Bolton have said they are happy for him to make his own decision. Whatever he decides will be purely for football reasons, not geography."
"Kenny Jackett put forward a sound and strong case for him coming to Millwall. He impressed the player and those who represent him. Other people have also put forward good cases."
