Former Coventry City defender Elliott Ward has signed for Nottingham Forrst until the end of the season.
Ward join Forest on loan from Norwich City in October and had made twelve appearances.
Speaking about the deal to keep Ward at the City Ground until June, Forest boss Alex McLeish told the Forest website; “Elliott is an experienced defender and if he can make a good push to play at the highest level he possibly can then we’ve got a good player.
“It was always the plan to bring him back – I told him the before he went back to Norwich that I’d love him to continue to work with us.
“I know that it’s only a loan for him and that he is probably looking towards his future but he could do a lot worse than having a storming second half of the season and we can look at things from there.”
