Following the hectic Christmas and New Year programme, the Actim Index – the Official Player Ratings of the Coca-Cola Championship – has revealed that Elliot Ward and Andy Marshall have been Coventry City's best performers so far this season.
Wardy & Marsh Doing Well
Ward, placed 26 in the Index overall, is ranked as the 9th highest defender in the Premiership. The 22-year-old has scored two goals for the Sky Blues in his 26 appearances this season. He has also contributed with 109 passes, 59 clearances and 28 interceptions.
Marshall is ranked as the eighth highest placed goalkeeper in the Index. In 26 appearances, the 31-year-old has made 146 saves and three clearances. Other Coventry City players who are ranked highly in the Actim Index are Robert Page (67th), Michael Doyle (88th) and Stephen Hughes (116th).
The Actim Index ranks players using Actim Stats according to their performance, both by position and overall. Analysis of all Championship games is taking place throughout the league campaign and the top five Coventry City players at the half-way stage of the season are:
